Dancing from the heart for her global success is a local Douglas Anderson attendee that has something to prove by the name of Ms Threasa Patterson. On the high road of her career, this Coreaographer/ Dancer has the will and the know how to get it done and make it look good in the process, destined for stardom this dancer has definetly blossomed into the best in her feild, one would only need to remeber the dancing all girl trio called Systematic on 106& park march 2009 that proved to the world that they were the best female dance crew " hands down". and also came back August 2009 on 106 & park the allstar edition to prove that they still couldn't be touched . It was an honor for me when the drummer from Split Tones (Will) arranged for us to meet for an interview and I could break down for the readers of SLP and the fans of Ms Patterson unique Dance style, and what makes this
Individual work so hard for her dreams and aspiration by dancing her way to the spotlight of global success. During our conversation I discovered a humble yet talented woman that had many ways to bring her dreams to the light, one is by hosting a dance night ( something like the Apollo in New York) for any talent that wants to show up on every first Friday of the month at Bellero's on Atlantic Blvd in between St John's Bluff Rd and Monument Rd , an event that we here at SLP are planning on attending more than once in order to help spread the buzz about this great event that has been put togather for persons to come out an d express there dancing ablities.
Also speaking with her brought to mind a quote by Manning Marble " Sister's have tought me that we should listen to the poetry within, capture and express our inner beauty as part of our political and social being", and with dance being her poetry maybe we should all stop what we are doing for a day and pay attenion to the elements that she brings to life threw dance, with that said lets go to her interview to get deeper insight.
